The Captain
Captain Mark Morris is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed OUPV operator. He has been fishing since he was old enough to walk to the water. He grew up on a lake shore and spent his childhood with a fishing rod in hand chasing largemouth bass. Mark lived in Virginia Beach from 1982 until 1989 where he fished salt water both inshore and offshore on friend's boats and charter boats for species such as blue fish, stripers, salt water trout, amberjack, tuna and marlin. From 1989 until 1994 Mark lived in the Midwest, purchased his first boat and fished in the states of Minnesota and North Dakota focusing on the elusive walleye. When he returned to New York in 1994 he started fishing the Hudson River and Lake Ontario as well as other lakes and rivers within New York State and is now on boat #4. Mark has decided his favorite fishery is now Lake Ontario followed secondly by the Hudson River where trophy 20 to 30 pound fish are a common occurrence.
If you have never caught a trophy 20-30 pound striped bass or king salmon you don't know what you are missing. Captain Mark really enjoys sharing these exhilarating experiences. Hooking up with fish this size is quite the adrenaline rush and we hope you will try one of these charters. You won't be disappointed!
